Was there any news about Guru having cancer last year?

Guru of the group Gang Starr died Monday from cancer that they said he battled since last year. He was just 43 years old! Wow, I didn't even know that he had cancer. He went down fast like Eazy E did! But Eazy had AIDS. Just goes to show that you can have a lot of money, and still die from your diseases. Sad. I liked him.
