What legal obligations do I have? (Car/dent question)?

So as i was walking to my car one of my teammates decided it would be cool to pretend he was going to run me over as he almost hits me i jump out of the way and push back on his car. I end up leaving a dent which can be fixed with a suction cup at the auto shop easily. If it can't hes taking it to a shop and making me pay. Am I legally obligated to pay because I left a dent, he was going like 30 and i freaked and so yeah.
