What do you think dreams mean?

Dreams are something your subconsious is trying to tell you. It could be about a problem you are having in your life, how you feel about yourself, or just an overview of what happened in your day. I used to believe dreams were omens, but then I started believing they were just thoughts buried in your subconsious that come to life when you are sleeping. I got interested in dream interpretation a while ago, and have been keeping a dream journal and trying to "decipher" every dream I have. They never really predict anything, at least not for me.

Can someone help me with my broken garbage disposal?

The last time it worked, I turned it on and there was a clanking sound then it just shut off. When I turn the switch to turn it on now, it sounds like it is trying to start up but doesn't actually start up. My sink is now draining VERY slow and there is a terrible smell under the sink where the garbage disposal is. Ok I have been looking everywhere (and I mean everywhere!) for a cool, stylish quilt. Not the ones that are very Grandma like and have been sewed together with bits of completely different ugly pastel fabrics. I have seen the speedo jump on several late 80's early 90's chevy trucks while reving the motor. This is when they first went to the electonic speedo. Not sure what causes that, Maybe in the instrument panel but did not affect the running condition. Check and make sure your distributor lock is in place and the distributor is flush with the intake, I have had them work loose and the distributor come up. Thus throwing off timing and moving the oil pump drive up to where it does not fuction properly. If it is up push it down and secure it. If it is not pushed up I would begin with plugs wires cap and rotor, but first inspect the magnets in your distribor under the rotor they can become rusted and cracked giving you similar problems. It doesn't really make a huge difference, but if you want to nitpick it would depend on the type of mask. I've read somewhere that if it's one meant to actively treat an issue (i.e. deposit some sort of product into the skin, like a moisturizer or anti-aging component) it would be better to use it at night, as your skin repairs itself and is more receptive to the product. If it's one meant to purge the skin of oil or impurities (usually these are the more mud-like masks, but not always) then it's less important. I wouldn't really worry about it though, as long as you're taking care of your skin appropriately the time of day you use your mask seems pretty unimportant. You really have to experiment with the different skincare regimes available in order to find what works for you, just stick with each one for at least three weeks before you give up. Your skin needs time to adjust and sometimes things get worse before they get better as dirt and impurities deep in your pores can cause breakouts as a new effective skincare regime brings them to the surface. I have a fish smelling discharge and went to several doctors and all of my paps came back normal with no std?

I've been having a not so pleasant discharge (fish smell) to be exact. I been to several doctors and got tested for every STD and all of my pap's came back normal with no STD. I had a l ultra sign done and I had free fluid around my left ovary. My doctor thinks that a cyst has burst but that don't explain the fish smell! Okay here is the deal. I have a low credit score. BUT I have never had anything in my name before. My husband had a wage garnishment when we were first married and he was forced to file bankruptcy. I did not have bad credit at that time either but I checked my credit and it shows the bankruptcy but doesnt show anything removed because there was nothing there. I talked to a financial advisor who says that they can still see that when they pull my credit and may consider this and not hold it against me. Then I will pay the loan back once the loan is paid I get my collateral. I dont need the 100.00 but I want to get good credit with my bank. Do you think that this will work? Why am I not losing weight?

losing weight takes time, i know people would of said this to you before but it's the amount of energy you take in each day from your food, i'm not saying starve yourself, just cut down a bit. it's ok to have some fat just not too much. and it's normal to lose weight slowly, it's very unhealthy to lose it fast like they do in Biggest Loser (most of them put it back on after about 6 months). also some people are built to be large and this also makes it hard to lose weight. also whole grain doesn't help in weight loss. i lost about 4 kg (7ish pounds, i think) by cuting down a bit on my intake, and i'm still as unfit as ever and i never touched a wholegrain anything. i'm 18 now, my weight's lvled out to a point i like and i'm still a slob. some people are geniticaly better at losing weight.

Need to refinance my adjustable rate mortgage?

Long story short (kind of)...my husband and I are in one of those crappy adjustable rate mortages which is set to go up in January. We have been trying to refinance, but are having horrible luck. Our credit is considered good (even though we do have a bankruptcy on our record) - but we are being told that our loan to home value is what is throwing us off. We need to be refinanced for $180,000 but our home value is falling short of that. I know there are programs out there like "relief programs" but we keep being told we do not qualify because our loan is neither a Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae. Another stickler seems to be the fact that we pay ALL our bills ontime. There are programs out there for people who are behind on their mortgages...which is not our situation. We are current on all our bills. Bankruptcy was discharged over 2 years ago, and we have worked to rebuild our credit. Is there ANY hope for us out there as far as being able to refinance before our mortgage adjusts is January? Oh, and I DO understand that a bankuptcy will stay on our record for 10 years - but according to a few different mortgage brokers, that's not the problem...it's the economy. HELP!

The three of us are over-achievers and he's an under-achiever because he has ADHD and dyslexia. He's grown out of control in the way that he goes out every night, he's in sixth form, and never studies or does his homework. He stays out as late as he can get away with and the latest has been 12 and this was on a school night. His highest GCSE grade was a B and his lowest was a G. He had with his girlfriend pretty early on because my sister walked in on them and who knows what else he's been doing because he's had a lot of girlfriends. He goes to party's and gets drunk, he's not even 18 and has collapsed because he has drunk so much. Recently my brother found cigarettes and a lighter in his room and my brother said that he smokes. He's ruined his body at 17. He always compares himself to me and my siblings because we do so well at school yet he doesn't even try and he gets so much praise for anything he does. He got caught shoplifting in TOYMASTER, stealing a transformer for his friend, he cried all the way home and said he would change but i know that he takes scissors with him when he goes shopping to cut the labels of clothing he takes. He didn't get the grades to get to the engineering sixth form he wanted but in the end they accepted despite his bad grades though he does have to retake english language. My parents thought that when they accepted him that he would change but he hasn't, he's just got worse :/. I cry about it all the time, I'm embarred to call him my brother. I just wish he'd realize what a freak he's being and grow up. If it was the reverse situation how would he feel? I just can't revise or anything knowing what a failure he is and he's bringing me down. He always puts me down and is unnecessarily mean to me. I always snap at him too and my parents because they just think he learns but he doesn't. I know this isn't about me but I don't know what to do? Can I just sit back and let him throw away his life? If I do, it'll be us, his family who has to pick up the pieces. He wants to go to university as well, he thinks its realistically possible but everyone else can see its not but they just don't want to crush his independence.

How can I treat this sore throat and how long will it last?

I've had a sore throat that started thursday night. On Friday I woke up with pain and it got better then got bad at night. Today being saturday it has hurt most of the day. Average load that a soldier carries now is over 100 pounds. They are not soldiers they are pack mules. Whatever happened to maneuver warfare? Toilet training advice?

My daughter was 16 months and she basically potty trained her self. After she started using the big girl potty she wanted nothing to do with diapers even at nap time or at night she would not let up put them on her. she is 9 years old now and has never had an accident (AMEN) I would just say be grateful for her wanting to use the potty at such a young age and just encourage the pee on the potty the more you try to make her she will become discouraged and could regress with the potty thing. Just let her do her thing when shes ready.

Although Pembroke Pines is in Broward County and it relates more to the Fort Lauderdale area, it's much closer to the Miami Dade County line. From Pembroke Road to the Turnpike where Unity Blvd starts it's only about 1-2 miles. From Pembroke Road to I-595 it's about 7-8 miles. Fort Lauderdale does not start in Davie so it's not that close to Pembroke Pines. To most residents that live here Fort Lauderdale starts after you cross under the I-595.

Okay I'm a resident of North Carolina and I'm transferring from a community college to a university in January. Well I have been offered admission to both of my top choice schools which are North Carolina State University in Raleigh, NC & East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. Well ultimately my career goal is to become a dentist and what brought my interest to East Carolina is the fact that they have built a new dental school there, but right now that is irrelevant b/c I've got to finish undergrad before going there. Either way I would apply to dental school there and to the existing dental school at UNC-Chapel Hill when that time comes. Well for my undergrad I would like to major in Microbiology because in case I don't get into dental school the first try I could find a good paying job in that field in the mean time. Well NC State university does have that major but East Carolina does not offer that major, so if I do attend ECU I'll have to opt for Biochemistry instead. NC State is closer to home, even though I do plan on staying on campus. ECU would be 3 hours away while NC State would be 2 hours. Also NC State is better known, better rep, more popular, I think ranked higher academically too. But I like ECU too and the new dental is really what cathes my attention and I don't know if going there for undergrad would increase the chances of them accepting me into dental school being that they might have 1st preference for applicants from their own. They also have a very good medical school there so I'm sure there are many pre-med studetns which I would find lots in common with, same goals etc....while NC State has a Veterinary School. So I dunno, help! I'm in a dilemma I want to go to a good school for my undergrad degree and I'm looking at what undergrad major would offer me the most in case I don't get into dental school as back up. Please help! Social services and the court system don't really care about the kids. My divorce has been in process for a year and half and my ex refuses to sign the papers. I have had an attorney but he has cost $15k and hasn't done a thing! She may have gave birth to our son, but she is not a mother. My son comes to me with bruises, sick, skin rash, dirty skin, dirty clothes, etc. He has had to get stiches while in her care because he fell off her bed, then she refused to get the stiches removed leaving them in 8 days past the doctors recommendation. She doesn't have a bed for him to sleep in, he shares a bed with her in a crowded house. She puts him in daycare for 10 hours per day while I am at home every day (I collect Social Security for a leg injury). She refuses to let him stay with me while she is at work. I've had to take him to a nutritionist because he is underweight for being a 3 1/2 yr old (weighing only 26 lbs). She feeds him fast food daily, and doesn't make sure he eats good nutrious food. When I told her that he should be having Pediasure drinks and vitamin bars daily, she accuses me of trying to make her spend more money. She uses our son to get even with me, she did drugs while she was pregnant, she has been in several car accidents, she still uses drugs daily. We have 50/50 custody but I need to do something NOW, I can't wait another 2 months before we go back to mediation and nothing ever happens. It's the same thing every 2 months. I want to go against the court order and just keep my son, but I'm afraid that will lead to greater problems. How do I expedite my case in front of the judge?? I'm in the process of getting a new lawyer, but I feel helpless and am running out of money to continue fighting this with pricy lawyers who get nothing done. Please Help a father who cares for his son!!

Digital camera not recognizing certain downloaded pictures?

Hello, I just got a new Kodak Easy Share C143 camera. I had a bunch of downloaded pictures from the internet (google and facebook) on my old card. You could see all those pictures on the back screen on the camera on my old camera. But when I put that card in this new camera, only a few of the pictures show up on the screen of the camera. Only about 1/4 of them show up and the rest of them say Unreadable format. All of the pictures on the card are in the JPG format so I don't see what the problem is. What can i do to fix this? what is wrong? thanks

Out of control teenage son?

My 13 year old son (going 14 on May 5th) is out of control. Today when my children came back from school, my son starts yelling at me for doing absolutely nothing. He has no respect for his family members, ESPECIALLY his 11 year old sister. My daughter always looks out for me and defends me from my son. While he was yelling, she respectfully told him that it was immature to scream at his mom (me) and to stop. He then approaches her kicking and hitting her while swearing before I got to stop them. When his sister walked upstairs and yelled "This is why I hate you and why you have no friends!" he then runs and grabs her and starts to again, hurt her physically and mentally. What ever punishment he gets, it doesn't stand in his way to hurt her. This happens 5-7 times a week to her, and I hate seeing her like this. After this happens, she always threatens us that she will kill herself, and I don't want that to happen. What should I do?

Nursing Clothing Question?

I have a couple nursing bras I wear at home that are easier to unsnap but I also just wear regular ones that give support but that I can pull down and tuck under when I go places and feel like I need more support. I wear regular shirts I can pull up and usually a tank top or camisole underneath I can pull down so there is the opening to feed. I just don't want to be limited to only nursing shirts. I haven't tried a really good nursing supportive bra but I'm looking into it for when I get out of the house more.

I was walking with a woman who was apparently my friend and she told me she was going out of town for several mo's and was leaving her 2 condos vacant. I suggested I could find friends to rent from her and she agreed. We were on a dirt road and I looked to the night sky and noticed a small circle of lightning occuring. I showed it to my friend and she also though it looked wierd. The circle kept getting bigger and it didn't appear to be lightning anymore but like circular ripples in the sky getting bigger and bigger. After a few minutes I was stunned because a giant hole appeared in the sky. I couldn't see where the hole lead to but a huge golden shooting star like thing fell through the hole and onto the Earth. I knew it was evil and was going to effect people. I was so scared I could barely move and then two men appeared on the road. One of them became a vicious dog like creature and started running toward us. It ended and I can't get it out of my head, help w/ ideas :)

When I told them that we couldn't know whether their agent or my agent did that, they told us that both of them are husband and wife!! 4 month old puppy too rough for 2 month old puppy?

We have a sheperd/husky mix 4 months old (Kaiser) and have had him for 2 months. We were looking for something to balance him out so we got another puppy. A 2 month old bet hound female(Alley). The problem is kaiser is kinda high strung (imagine that) and is playing too rough for the baby bet hound. He pulls/bites on her oversized ears, drags her across the floor, pins her, etc. She does fight back and bite him as well, but I think he is just too much for her right now. He weighs 25 lbs and she weighs 7 lbs. She does yelp/growl when he gets too rough, and he does seem to back off a bit, but goes right back to playing rough again. Kaiser also is starting to get food agressive towards her, which I think he learned from another dog. When she comes near his bowl, he scarfs down his food really quick and I finally separated them into separate rooms during eating, and he is content. We give them separate kongs but he seems to want to have what shes having, even though its the same damn thing! He did nip at her today for getting too close to his kong. I'm pretty sure he is acting out a little bit bc he is trying to establish his place in the pecking order, and prolly a little jealousy with a new puppy. And he may also still be trying to get used to her bc we got her two days ago. So maybe a timeout for him? Any suggestions?

They don't put you out for a c-section. They give you a spinal. I had to have a c-section in October as my son was breech also, ans was too long to turn himself around. I had a epidural with my first as it was a l birth, and a spinal for my c-section. You won't havce any future back problems. Its a routine procedure now

I am 43; had mostly spotty period (some heavier) for more than 2 weeks?

I am so scared. I have had normal periods all my life. I am not on birth control at all. On June 22, I started my period pretty much on the right day but I had been having this feeling that something was a little odd because I had no "pms" and I had a little more mucus discharge than usual up to that point. I just kept spotting for a few days and then it went to a moderate flow briefly and then back to spotting or light. It had a lot of mucus in it. I had a little more cramping than usual. I think it may have finally stopped but my have been sore the whole time. I went to the doctor yesterday and they did a preg. test; it was negative. She did a pap smear and had me get some blood tests. She said either I was pregnant or in perimenopause or maybe have low thyroid. I told her I had 2 miscarriages before. She said if I am pregnant and having bleeding that I will probably have a miscarriage. I do not want to be pregnant. How can I be pregnant when some of the period had small clumps/weird looking stuff? Maybe I had a miscarriage already? Why are my s still sore then? I'll be getting an ultrasound but they couldn't get me in for a whole week. I'm so scared I can't really live or think right. I need some kind words.

My 15 month old son has just lost a pound?

My son has been low in the growth charts since he was born. He recently had gotten above 20 pound at his last check up at 13 months and now at his 15 month appointment he had lost 1 whole pound to 19 pounds even! a big cause for this problem is nothing more than brake dust, or lack of lubrication on the back of the pads. pull them back out and clean the heck out of the system and get all of the dust off of the emblies. then lubricate any point that makes contact with a stable object aside from the face of the pad. i did this on a solara last year and the noise went away. the semi metallic pads are known to create noise.

My mom totaled her car. This woman turned right in front of her and she was definitely at fault. She even admitted it was her fault. There really isn't too much damaged to our car but according to the insurance company my mom's car is totaled. And not only do we now have to get a new car but the insurance companies are telling my mom that if my mom hadn't out on the brakes to avoid the crash then it wouldn't be her fault at all. But I mean how does that make any sense at all? Then it would have been a worse crash and we would have definitely gotten hurt. Then the insurance company tells her that since she hit the car right on the side of the bumper she could have swerved in to the other lane to avoid the hit. And, once again, what kind of messed up logic is that? Because if my mom were to have swerved into the other lane then that would have caused her to bring another car into the accident and this hit would have probably been a head on collision.

Relationship troubles :(?

I started dating this extremely nice boy on the third of this month. The problem is, I was never really attracted to him, I just like the idea of having a boyfriend. I have external hemrhoids but they only come out around my rectum after i go poop. Then they disappear. The doc gave me some ol suppositories which was hydrocortison but it made them get bigger! Now when i poop, they look fatter and wider and they are more sensitive! Preperation H didnt help either! 2-Way ANOVA-Data is Annual, Can 1 Variable be "Time"?

My stats project fell apart at the last minute, so I'm having to start over... or at least switch directions, and now I'm faced with a new question. If my data is annual, can one of my variables also be "time", so as to show if there's been a change statistically over time? If I group the data into say groups of three years, can that serve as not only my replicated data, but also one of my variables? I understand that annual data is not technically replicated data, but the example of a prior project that was shown to us used annual reports for its data. Any help would be appreciated, as I'm now down to crunch time with this project. I have another option if this isn't possible, but this is the quicker of the two. Thanks!

Sometimes, a gentle contrarian poke is more effective than an elaborate discussion. I've also learned to be happy with small victories -- they have believed in this stuff for a long time, they can't just wash it off. It is easier if you have a diverse set of friends so you can compare and contrast to know the contradictions and trivialities in each faith.

okay so i've been staying in my apartment for 3 years never gave management problems, but i've been experiencing problems with them. i've had some maintenance issues going on they haven't taken care of since october '07 and when they do come to fix something they do a half *** job. okay so now i have a problem with a cat. i'm on the bottom floor but somehow a cat has gotten into my bathroom vent. the cat cries and i have noticed an odor in my house i just realized the odor is cat piss, it's really strong and i can't get rid of it. my husband has taken the vent off and can feed the cat, i called management and told them they told me to call animal control, i said okay but my husband has tried to handle it his way he made the hole around the vent bigger and is trying to coax the cat out with food and milk. my question is is this my responsibility or management?

Why is my cat throwing up so much?

Since yesterday morning, my cat (who is 2 and a half) has been throwing up. I haven't been able to watch her all the time, thanks to school, but I've seen her to it about five, maybe six times. Sometimes it's food and sometimes it's just bile, like maybe if she's been drinking milk or water. We're taking her to the vet in the morning, but I'm wondering if anyone knows what this might be. She hasn't been acting any differently, but she's never been sick before and I'm worried.

I'm against the death penalty not because I think it's too harsh and cruel, but contrarily because I think it's not harsh enough, too merciful. To me, killing a murderer is like putting them out of their guilt and misery. I think life imprisonment is more severe than the death penalty because it forces murderers to go through the rest of their life thinking about what they've done. I think a constant reminder of a murderer's crime in a living hell is the kind of punishment murderers really deserve. I know it's supposed to be a liberal stance to oppose the death penalty, but if I oppose it for these reasons, isn't that conservative?

i found at that she is a female, and is pregnant. (she has the lighest gravid spot ever!). She keeps trying to rem the gl, rolling her body on te gl, she only does this when she is pooping most of the time. Is she ok? The males sortta bug her. im 16 and get heart palpitations every 2 weeks or so, usually it only lasts 3 or 4 mins but the thing i dont understand is, i get them outta no where, i wouldnt be drinkin alcohol,or smoking or running or no caffeine, id just be sittin down,it beats very fast and can feel it thumpin out of my chest and my throath always gets really tight aswell, why does this happen?

She says that she is ready to withdraw her petition provided i withdraw my divorce petition.
