What is the amount of maintenance i would have to pay to my wife?

I filed for divorce on grounds of cruelty and mental harrment after my wife left me alongwith my 18 month old daughter and did not return even after a month. In turn, my wife filed a maintenance petition in her home state and another petition in the supreme court for perhaps inter-state transfer of the case filed by me. In the maintenance petition filed by her u/s. 125 of Cr.P.C.,she has levelled several baseless charges against me and all my family members which include dowry harment and harment on account of bearing a girl child. Now my wife says that she did not want me to divorce her and hence she has filed such a petition and the charges therein. She says that she is ready to withdraw her petition provided i withdraw my divorce petition. What should i do as I am not inclined to trust her as besides her lazy and irresponsible behavior, she also has a cunning nature and ill-treated me as well as my family members including my daughter and emotionally blackmail me and could well repeat all the same again with much more precaution this time. Can the court deny me a divorce and order me to compulsory co-habit with my wife in conjugal society against my will? My wife has a B.Pharma degree. Can i refuse maintenance to her so that I can instead invest for my daughter's future but without her knowledge. What could be the motive of filing petition u/s. 125 and levelling such charges when she could have got maintenance any way once the divorce proceedings conclude? Can the court convert such charges into a complaint? I have been summoned by the other court in August whereas my wife is supposed to attend on july end in the court where i filed my petition? What else do i stand to loose in case of her maintenance petition gets upheld as i am a Govt. Employee?
