PLEASE HELP! i have a question about hemmrhoids! Anyone please?

I have external hemrhoids but they only come out around my rectum after i go poop. Then they disappear. The doc gave me some ol suppositories which was hydrocortison but it made them get bigger! Now when i poop, they look fatter and wider and they are more sensitive! Preperation H didnt help either! I dont know what to do, im very frustrated and dont have an appointment with the doc until next week. If you have used suppositories, did it make your hemmrhoides more inflamed? Since my hemmrhoides are only visisble when i poop can i still get them surgically removed? What can i do? im just all out of hope. Any info will be greatly appreciated.
