Why are my brakes (calipers?) squeaking despite new brakes?

a big cause for this problem is nothing more than brake dust, or lack of lubrication on the back of the pads. pull them back out and clean the heck out of the system and get all of the dust off of the emblies. then lubricate any point that makes contact with a stable object aside from the face of the pad. i did this on a solara last year and the noise went away. the semi metallic pads are known to create noise.
