Why don't the Wisconsin Badgers play aggressively enough to win big games?

Every time they get a lead, they decide to ease up and start ping the ball around all over the place. They slow the game down. They decide to start killing the shot clock- even in the first half! Then when the shot clock is winding down to zero, they put up a rushed shot. Why don't they put the game away? Why do they let the other team back in the game? What is the problem here? Coaching?
