Being paid as I train as a CNA here in Tennessee?

Most facilities will pay you to work as a CNA while they train you. LPN and CNA are two Totally different jobs. CNA's are Certified, hence the C. LPN's are LIcensed, hene the L. LPN' s p medications, do essments, chart, talk to dr.s, etc. There really isn't that much difference b/w LPN's and RN's in ters of what they do. An ociate degree in nusing RN takes 2 years. A lot of facilities will pay for you to go to nursing school, esp if you will work for them aftery ou graduate. I do agre a lot of the prerequ's are BS. If you plan on working in a nursing home forever then LPN would be good. If you want to work in a hospital, then better get the RN.
