I got to shoot M1, AR-15, and AK-47 but liked M1 the best?

I was shooting today and i liked the Ar and ak but theres something about the M1 garand i liked a lot the recoil actual was tolerable it did not hurt. Hell my 20 gauge 3 inch mags kick more i think not sure how but i shot them and they hurt i shot M1 garand prone i was fine. It seems accurate too. How much could i get a M1 for? The guy i know has like 3 M1 garands .
